NDA 2.0 : A SAGA OF FABRICATED NATIONALISM & PSEUOSECULARISM

A few months back we swung into protests. The protestors were none other than the one’s who had fed the county for centuries. Twitterati’s quickly swung into action to label us Terrorists and khalistani’s. Today’s post is an answer to all those cheap fabricated nationalists who are witnessing india being destroyed for the greed of power. This post will reflect some points from our rich history and ancestory. This is my answer to all the war mongerer pseudoseculars and pseudonationalist and request at the same time to save this great indian nation which faces an emergency like situation now.

Historical preview :

There was a time my friends when the Great Indian PM Shastri Ji had pledged to give up one meal for a day and had requested all indian families to give up one meal a day. This request was aired on ALL INDIA RADIO in 1964 when the nation was threatened to be deprived of wheat supplies by the United states. This was certainly going to push the poverty struck young indian nation into an unprecedented crisis of malnourishment and poverty altogether.

The man who honestly meant JAI JAWAN JAI KISAN !! Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri ji (2nd PM of india)

Green revolution of 1960’s :

During this time world went through a series of drastic changes. One such change was THE GREEN REVOLUTION of 1960’s . Farmers of Punjab and Haryana turned the fortunes of the country.

A grain deficient state was turned into a grain surplus state. Today we are so self sufficient that our govt. godowns now feed the rodents as well.

All this has come at a cost. The brunt of this agricultural revolution , injudicious fertiliser use has degraded our soils , turned our Malwa region into a cancer belt. The magnitude of this problem can be understood by the fact that a special cancer train is being operated for this region.

The groundwater has now reached a record low of 650m depth in some blocks and we might run out of water in near future .What we are paid for all this is a royalty of Rs.3600 crore with which we connect our villages to cities and subsidise our farmers with free elctricity for irrigation etc. This royalty of 3600 crores is what we stand to be deprived of despite having lost our soil and lives altogether now.

Map showing the depletion and overexploitation of water blocks

We stood for india in tough times , and when its india’s turn its running away from responsibilities. People say only rich farmers of punjab are affected . Who do you call rich ? The one’s who even find it diificult to make two ends meet? One acre of crop gives a profit of 30-40 thousand and 70% of farmers are marginal who hold less than 5 acre land. Do you find 1-2 lakh enough to survive for a family of 4 despite working so hard ? There are a few questions which no govt. has answered . Modi who promised to be a better change has betrayed us yet again.

Anti Farmer laws and the Agitation :

The indian govt introduced its three draconian laws which deprive us of our rights, our royalty and foremost will pushh us into the hands of private players.

Point is that GOVT. wants to remove the commision agents which help FCI in procurement and charge a commission for this. My question is that when these commission agents are removed will Mr . Modi travel down to every mandi to procure the crop ?

The answer is a clear NO.

Even then the commission agents will be appointed. The only difference is that these commission agents will be employed by big private players who will then manipulate the markets and will not compensate farmers a single penny even if a single grain out of entire stock is damaged. This will lead to excessive damage to govt. exchequer and the farmers as well but will fill the pockets of well off private players and ultimately we will undergo a phase of unparalleled destruction .

The situation is much similar to the one like MAHATMA GANDHI LED 1917 civil disobedience in champaran against the atrocities of british govt. on the indigo farmers. But mahatma is still known as a Bapu and our Bapu’s protesting on the delhi borders are called as terrorists !!

My second point against these draconian bills is that govt says it will provide an SDM court to solve any issues related to contracts or stuff . These educated fools dont understand basic economic limitations of a farmer. Is it even feasible for a farmer to shell out money to travel to an SDM’s court and then hire a lawyer and then attend the hearings ??

Thirdly , open markets are a failed system worldwide ; US and Canada are live examples! We are just given an assurance to try a failed systen . The clear answer is NO we will not !!

The labelled terrorists: our farmers leading the protest

The oppressive regime

Ever since NDA 2.0 came to power india witnessed more riots than ever before. India witnessed destruction of giant PSU’s like AIR INDIA , LIC , BSNL to name a few meanwhile ADANI & AMBANI multiplied their fortune exponentially. The Agriculture was last sector left untouched by modi which was to be destroyed and this masterplan is now being implemented .We witnessed riots in shaheen bagh.

Bloodthirsty war mongerer notorious elements are woking on it and political parties are seeking their own benefits. we farmers will not let this happen. We are nurtured by our soil to face any hardships and we dont fear anyone. we are sitting unarmed on the borders of delhi without any fear of death .

We aren’t khalistani’s as BJP people label us, we are neither Akali’s Nor the congress people. We are farmers peacefully protesting against the atrocities of this oppressive , undemocratic regime.

My journey from TRACTOR2TWITTER :

These protests have harnessed energy in all of us like never before and have united all of us as one. They provoke us telling us that we are rich khalistani’s sold off. Every successfull farmer is a hidden story.

Today all that we are ;

we owe it to our ancestors and our lands which were ploughed and irrigated with the blood and sweat .

My great grandfather used to sow carrots and sell them. My granfather served in army and ploghed his fields along , my father is a doctor and he hasnt left agriculture . I am a son of a doctor , i will be a doctor tomorrow. All that we are today or will be tomorrow is what our lands have given us in return for our sweats which irrigated them. If we own Iphones today its bcz of farming and our hardwork. Pseudo nationalists dont have any right to question us for what we got in return of our hardwork.

I pledge it with my heart and soul that i will not let any govt. deprive me of my agricultural background and i am proud of it.

I am proud of my seniors and juniors who are serving at the frontline. This post is a tribute to services rendered by :

  1. The farmer unions (ALL INDIA FARMERS ASSOCIATION)
  2. SGPC AMRITSAR
  3. Management, SGRDIMSR
  4. SENIORS From 2015 batch
  5. JUNIORS from 2017 batch
  6. DSGMC NEW DELHI
  7. Punjabi music and film industry.
  8. A million Unsung heroes
Junior doctors from SGRD Medical college at frontline represented by Dr. Inderpal singh sandhu and Dr. Manpreet singh khehra

Me and my boys salute all those sitting on the front bearing the extremes of weather and oppression of this non democratic government altogether and look forward to join the teams soon.

I look forward to a constructive debate on any of the points i have raised and look forward to reach more of you more often.

Feedback is much awaited and appreciated.

Save The Saviours….

It has been a while that I kept myself away from the blogging world but this time my conscience didn’t let me part from an important and another national cause.

In another month we are heading for an important milestone in our history – The 75th independence anniversary but deep down a person with smart intellect always understands that our beautifull motherland is still caught in the chains of communalism , poverty , Illiteracy . Worst part is that even literate people who keep a better knowledge about the world act as illiterates when it comes to electing the one’s going to lead us.

Bengal , even in the pre-Independence era had been an important geographical location for the beginning of many revolutions which eventually helped us achieve a free , young and independent nation. I am proud to pen it down that even today West bengal has led to a united medicine community Pan-India.IMG_1713.jpg

Attacks on Junior as well as senior doctors are an everyday story in India now. This time the goons nearly killed a junior resident on duty . He sustained a skull fracture along with many other injuries.

Since years the govt. has been trying to improve the Doctor:Patient ratio in India. Till date I believed that maybe the cause for this could be a large population size but now I understand after quite introspection that the environment in which we are working is not a conductive environment.

I have a few questions for those who mercilessly attacked a doctor just to satisfy their own EGO :

Do you think medical colleges are the factories producing gods around?

Do you really believe that docs have a direct contact established with god ?

Do you even know that the person looking after 85 year old gentleman might have been working continously on a 18 hour long shift?

Do you even know what all it takes to be a doctor ? It costs the entire young age of a person !

The situation is too worrisome because the hooligans are being supported by the govt. and instead the doctors are being given ultimatum’s …… The faith in judicial system was restored today when the High court asked the WB govt. to anyhow persuade doctors to get back to work. But Adamant govt. isnt even willing to share a table with protesting docs to come to a solution through talks. img_1714.jpg

The only good part about this week has been that we at least,  now understand that medicos of this great nation stand united and unshaken by the Egoistic attitude of the Govt. which is still busy playing the blame game . The worst part about these protests are the sufferings patients are going through . Today there was a  report of a father crying by carrying the body his 4 year old child who died due to non availability of doctors.

It was just a day and entire system was on its knees. I hope that govt. understands the issue and supports the Doctors instead of ruffians.

Sooner The Better ….

A special mention to all the faculty members and senior members of the community who are supporting the juniors and discharging their responsibility as our academic parents very well. Foremost – I was delighted by the fact that even non medicos have played their part very well. Even our media deserves to be appreciated for creating awareness on the issue across the length and breadth of the country . Hats Off !!IMG_1715.jpg

I wish that the normalcy is restored as soon as possible so that the innocents do not suffer due to the one’s who are always involved in paralysing the system . Please do not forget to keep extending your unconditional support to your profession as and when required because sooner or later – IT COULD BE ANYONE FROM US AS WELL……98bfd789-02f4-4a46-acbe-3550c539d14f.JPG

Exploring the Incredible….

JAN 1 , 2019

As the world celebrated the onset of new year ; All the frustrated medicos from II prof were busy preparing for the last practical examination.6 long months of exertion and then finally came a time when the minds of next generation docs were so frustrated that we needed to get out of Amritsar as soon as possible. Ideas began floating in the group and finally Rajasthan was finalised .

Fun doesn’t begin here ; what brought even more depression were the clouds gathering  on the unhatched plan when few of the ready members backed out . Everyone was really uncertain so as to what would the Dawn of 8th january bring for us ……

Jan 8 , 2019

7 am IST

And finally on one fine morning we moved out of the bounds of SGRD university to begin a journey which proved out to be our longest expedition by road so far. Against the rule of nature , this time Sarabjot was ready upon time . We sat in the car ;  performed the ardas and asked waheguru to support us at every point throughout the trip . This was more important for me because this was the first time papa had finally agreed for the trip . We kickstarted  at 7 am sharp to pick up Rehman from his place . Here it is important to mention that in that bitter cold morning of january , the breakfast that rehman was to bring for us was more important than rehman singh himself .

We left from amritsar at 8 am and stopped at Harike for Tea . The music of running water along with sizzling tea and pakora’s helped us enjoy the serene nature . After refreshments we rushed towards Bhatinda which was the union point of the 2 cars (Ammy’s Bento and Raju’s beloved vento) .

11 am IST

RK bajwa ,  me , sarab , rehman reached bhatinda way before Ammy and party. Finally a white colored PB08DU8899 Bento came closer to ours. Cheers to this moment , We finally began our journey towards Jaipur  , which was supposed to be our stop for the first leg of our tour .

6 pm IST

We had finally reached Jaipur after a tiring journey of 700 Kms . We finally we booked  a stay at Regenta central and decided to have dinner at Handi Restaurent , which i guess brought the  2 most unforgettable memories of our lives .  I am quite sure that 7 other who went along with me are laughing there heads out at this moment ……

Lets continue guys ; why should you have all the funn?????

After  a fine supper , we all were served with nimbu paani . Here once and for last time i trusted bhatti saab blindly (Rehman) . Upon his intrusion to drink the water which was supposed to be used to cleanse the hands ; I was soon going to be a matter of fun for the entire restaurent if sarab hadnt stopped me there .

We had still not come out of this nimbu paani scene and amar narrated something even more funny :

He went to ladies washroom by mistake and was then confused so as to why the lady standing next to him was laughing at him ?

This gave even more trauma to our stomachs which were aching due to laughter and finally we decided to move out before the restaurent owner could ask us to do so.

This summed up the 8th day of 2019 for us.

Jan 9 , 2019

12 pm IST

The time that i would narrate here would depict us as the laziest people from our college. But if i narrate the duration between 9-12 am , that might lead to cancellation of our future road trips .

After that we finally began exploring around jaipur . we visited

  1. Amer  (Home to Akbar’s In laws)
  2. City palace
  3. Jantar mantar
  4. Hawa mahal

Here , I revived my memories from 2011 visit along with my Dalhousian fellows. Eventually we decided to proceed furthur towards Udaipur and left for it at an undisclosed timing.

xx:oo IST

We finally reached Udaipur with a bit delay due to Bhatti saabs characteristic mutr visarjan problem and finally met Brahmsy , Ishaan and Tanraj at GG holiday appartments which were going to be our stay for next 2 nights. By now we had covered around 400 kms ; Roughly a point more than 3rd fraction of our trip . After a nice gossip ; all of us went to sleep to wake up afresh in the next morning.

Jan 10 , 2019

8 am IST

Settled upon aravalli range of hills Udaipur is seemingly beautifull . All that i could recollect from my previous visit were its beautifull lakes . It had changed a lot both positively and negatively. By now we had 3 cars :

Ammy’s Bento

RK’s Vento

And a Cab along with its driver .

We asked Cab driver to show us around the city. He guided us through ekling temple (built for king’s guide) , Nathdwara temple , Haldighati, Fatehsagar lake  and finally the monsoon palace.

Fatehsagar lake is one such point around which our entire stay in udaipur has evolved. while clicking the pic on the railing around the periphery of the lake ; my phobia to height was at its peak but my confidence was at next level due to supports around .

4:30 pm IST , Monsoon palace, Udaipur

This was the best site of the day . We reached here and clicked a large no. of pics . Meanwhile we could easily notice the people marking our presence , probably because we were different from the entire crowd there. This palace has been gifted by the king to the government to look after it and let the public enjoy amazing dusk everyday. If you ever visit udaipur , this is one amongst few choiciest places to visit here.

6:30 pm IST , Ali baba emporium , Udaipur

While we were confused about the dinner spot that night , our driver suggested us to visit ali baba emporium meanwhile. This place isn’t a special attraction but we decided to have a look . Here the salesperson showed us the products which he claimed to be fully organic supported by his own theories. All that I brought from here was the Coffin of murdered scientific logics. Being a medicine student i could never believe that medicines from a herbal quilt would enter through the veins and activate the hormones. Irony just died here when he claimed the product to have won presidential awards.

There was still enough time for dinner and we were again confused so as to how to utilise the remaining minutes. So here another idea stuck into one of the brilliant minds.

” Lets visit the nearby celebration mall ”

7:30 pm IST , Celebration mall , Udaipur

As soon as we entered the mall , I found the mall quite similar to its namecopy in amritsar , except for the fact that the food court seemed quite interesting. The BBQnation was finalised to be the dinner destination for the day. We enjoyed the dinner and chalked out the plan for next day .

One fond memory of this place lies with Ishaan; who might never except coins in his life now . We asked him to take out a Rs.5 coin from the cake as a shagun . Here is the twist ; he was supposed to take the coin out with his mouth. As soon as he bowed down for shagun ; the cake was had imprint of Ishaan’s face……. Part – I .

11:59 pm IST , GG HOLIDAY APPARTMENTS , Udaipur

Now it was the time to return to GG appartments once again . Here came the Bday bash Part -II for Ishaan . 2 cakes , 1 face – This sums up all what happened next . Another cake was saved to be never eaten by us . Sad part of the story is that some part of the cake was also imprinted upon Bento.

This marked the curtaining of 10 January.

11 JAN , 2019

10:00 am IST , City palace ,Udaipur

By 10 am we reached city palace which was another good memory i could gather from my last visit. The palace is really beautifull and one of the most beautifull palaces in india. The guide showed us around the palace . The most beautifull part of the palace is Pichola lake and the worst part is the history of the kings. Take my word – Rajasthan isn’t meant for you if you ain’t interested in history.

Many of my friends found it really boring because of its history n the fact that it was tiring . Also the boating in pichola lake was closed for public for the same day.

And then suddenly there was a voice –

“Lets get back to Amritsar tomorrow….I mean lets save our lohri atleast ! “

Few voices spoke in favour and the topic of discussion for the night was finally out.

Next we visited the vintage car collection which is of no fun for public but a good revenue source for the king of udaipur.

3:00 pm IST , Badi lake , Udaipur

Despite reluctance by Rk to visit Badi lake , all of the members decided to go ahead for it. Here I must admit that the view from top of the hill after that small trek was unexpectedly awesome . We stood there quitely 2 minutes to enjoy the gift of nature . All that i had in my mind was that –

“My motherland is more beautifull than anyone could ever describe in words”

7:30 pm IST , Ambrai restaurent , Udaipur

Ambrai restaurent is located on the shore of Pichola lake. It seemed to be the choice of dinner for most of the tourists in udaipur . I reckon it is the must visit spot in udaipur. The ambience was awesome and I experienced a vista view like never before . This was my first candle light dinner and to my dismay Bhatti saab was seated right in front of me. Fortunes of veg and non veg people were tested here . I would like to certainly admit that vegetarians certainly had a upper hand . Two factors played a key role here :

  1. Chief chef was absent.
  2. We had REHMAN SINGH BHATTI with us.

Rehman singh decided to order 2 completely new varieties of the chicken despite repeated requests by me n sarab to rethink once again .Par taanu ptaa ajj kal de jwaak kithe sunde ….

Next moment all non veg people knew that ” Saada lagg chukka ”

But the restaurent and that view can never be described in words .

At 9:30 we decided to leave for GG appartments to finalise what would be our next destination – Amritsar or Jaisalmer?

11:00 pm IST , GG APPARTMENTS UDAIPUR

When we reached GG appartments , RK noticed that fuel tank was crying out for a refill. Since we had to cover a long distance either Amritsar or Jaisalmer , everyone gave nod for a refill until they changed.

As soon as GG appartments was out of our view , our corrupt mindset changed and we decided to visit the Fateh sagar lake again without letting our fellows know. Going to fateh sagar lake at this time was similar to fish returning back after licking a stone purposelessly.

But we enjoyed for the fact that no one amongst those in the appartments knew that we had finally been to fateh sagar for one last time again.

Before sleep it was finally decided that we would travel to jaisalmer . This curtained the second leg of our tour and we then moved towards Jaisalmer .

12 Jan , 2019

3:45 pm IST , Jaisalmer

Now we began to chase one of the destinations which was decided after a long thought process. We reached Jaisalmer at around 3:00 pm after cutting 500 across kms. On the way we witessed barren lands amidst small streches of mustard plantation and windmill farms spanning large areas on both the sides of the roads. We also saw a signboard signalling way to Pokhran . As soon as I hear about this place ; It reminds me about the two brilliant leaders – Vajpayee sahab and Dr. Kalam .

Jaisalmer is a unique place both strategically and characteristically because it was one of the key cities pakistan wanted to capture in 1971. The city is unique due to its golden appearance . The entire city is built up of golden marble which is manufactured there. But here we got to know that our stop would be around 45 kms away in the SAM sand dunes . The road to sam is really awesome with its unique bumps.

Here we decided to stay at KF camps and resort. Dawood bhai welcomed us there. This welcome was followed by rajasthani traditional dance show and Tea was served to all the guests. Sarab was quite excited about the dinner because his long standing wish of Dal Bati Churma was going to be fulfilled in the traditional dinner.

After tea we went for a Thar safari which was really thrilling . After this thar safari , everyone wished if would spare another day here to experience the thrill again . After this we decided to go for dinner during which sarab’s dream was shattered . Because the food didnt taste good enough . Therefore we decided to go to a nearby restaurent .

No restaurents were open. Our eyes glowed up when one of the shopkeeper’s offered us maggi .

After this came the most interesting part of the story. Prabhdeep finally had a grarri to ride on a camel. All thanks to prabhdeep that we witnessed another funniest moment of the trip . Camel struggled to stand on its legs when sarab was on its hump .

Amidst laughter and fun we went to bed and finally decided to leave jaisalmer as early as possible in the next morning.

Jan 13 , 2019

3:00 pm IST , Bhatinda

Abhishek woke everyone up at 5 am . With everybody’s eyes half open we began the longest phase of the expedition towards amritsar . Along the way we crossed from Bikaner and gifted lohri to our mama’s out there . we reached bhatinda at around 3 pm . Since we had been deprived of punjabi food for last 5 days , everyone wanted to have a nice meal. We stopped at a local restaurent on Amritsar-Bhatinda highway and blasted butter chicken and naans.

we finally departed from bhatinda and reached amritsar at 6:00 pm IST to mark the completion of the 3000km+ expedition by road .

The entire trip revolved around one word which i cannot decribe here along with thousands of jokes and characters which shall always remain confidential and confined within the filter family.

This trip not only gave me fond memories to cherish but i also learnt that we are distinct from any other community and any other race in the world . Wherever we went – be it Jaipur , Udaipur or Jaisalmer. People marked our presence everywhere . At some places we even saw people asking all of us to pose with them . At the monsoon palace , while we were clicking the pics ; I experienced entire public attracted to the bright colors of our turbans .

I learnt that the turban that i wear each day on my head is my identity and i shall always upkeep it with dignity at all cost.

A special thanks to Kanwar partap singh muhar for conceiving the idea of this trip. You were missed there bro !

Your feedback is always awaited.

DEAR DIARY ❤️

TUESDAY,

June 26,2018

The clock showed 6:05 pm and I got carried away by some sound that I really loved . Yes, These were the premonsoon showers !! I was reading pathology when I got carried away into my thoughts. A flashback of beautifull memories ran through my mind . I saw myself standing at the shore of the canal where me n my friends usually used to go to spend some quality time.

I could see RAJ KANWAR SINGH BAJWA dancing as if no one is watching around. Challa sounded loud and clear in the roadqueen and Creta😅.

Dawww!!

By now I realised that I am homesick even at home particularly because it had been over a week I had not woke up GG , we didnt go jogging either , n the usual hustle bustle of my college life was missing 😪.

I missed meeting each other in class n the snake hissing around 🐍🇵🇰. I coudn’t see K.Shah dancing on Binte dil either 😅. MERE INGAA has gone missing too 🤬.

September 8 , 2016

The beginning of our beautifull journey with many people boarding n leaving the compartment we were travelling in 🤣✌️. This day marks the beginning of our SUFFER at SGRD Institute of medical sciences and research .

The journey of merely knowing each other by face upto knowing each other to our roots spans over 22 months . I am quite sure that these 22 months witnessed 22000 departmental jokes which kept us bounf together even in our toughest n darkest times !

We certainly carry best memories from first prof. but second prof. gave us wings of independence . I would like to herein congratulate ISHAAN and TANRAJ for it was there first big adventure . This trip was to be kept totally secret from our parents !

But this never happened cz I was the one who called up at home to inform my father that I was really enjoying the dinner at GPO , DALHOUSIE n I don’t think so that sharing the aftermath here would be ethical 😂. I ate the dinner really contended amongst everybody’s laughter . Amarjot and Randhawa22Huni represented Kadar khan and govinda of our group 🤣 the best comedians .

We celebrated this year’s lohri twice – Once at Snake’s place n second on Bansal’s invite to mullanpur. This trip gave us a chance to enjoy Prantha’s at 2am in the morning and the following day completely changed my perspective about life.

Amar had invited all of us for lunch at phillaur . This day brought me the oppurtunity to meet S. Sukhwinder singh sandhu . His struggle story was a lesson for life .

All these days have brought us closer each day and I wish that we don’t witness another december like that of 2017.

Feeding India gave a new momentum to our lives n we were glad to serve as hunger heroes 😊

I heard that –

A friend to all is a friend to none !

But we all have very well defied this fact because of a keen desire to set an examplary friendship goal for the generations to come ❤️ .

Inshallah , We shall certainly achieve it.

Hello friends ,

Umeed krta hun ki aap sab khairiyat se hain 🙂

This post is dedicated to and is entirely for my family at SGRD which is not merely limited to filters but also my friends and batchmates.

My thoughts date long back to september 2K16 when we met each other for the first time . Let’s have a flashback at few of our memories from first prof.

18 November 2016

I hope you guys remember the day . The day we organised the first ever CP . The day we danced together for the first time ever. The day we clapped together for awesome performances of Guneet , Deepak , Amiteshwar and Raj kanwar followed by Simar’s performance . The day our CR addressed us all for the first time ever . The day he said that he feels that he is satisfied for whatever he scored in NEET as he could not have got better batchmates anywhere else . The day he urged us all to keep the warmth of those memories alive ✌️.

Riwayat 2016

Gosh ! A wonderfull day . Indeed a most beautifull day organised by our seniors to welcome us into SGRD family . I remember only one special event from Riwayat .

After the curtaining of Riwayat 2K16 and the DJ party , each memeber of our batch present in the ground had chanted S G R D 2 K 16 in unison .

Present day II Prof :

Where is that unity now ? Present day we have reached a condition where we are not even able to tolerate each other’s opinion . ( No offence please , I refer to all the people in the batch including my friends ) The level of intolerance is such that even people around are well versed with the crippled condition of unity of our class .

A couple of days ago I was passing by and a voice pinched my heart and brain at the same time .

The class group of SGRD batch 2016 has become a fish market now .

Please let me know what would have you done in such a situation . I tackled it by conveying my feelings on paper .

Twice in my life I have seen responsible men talking about war casually without knowing its consequences :

1. When Donald trump , talked openly about a nuclear war from the world platform .

2. When our class CR confessed that he will not make any efforts to end radicalism in class. Sir, your words are binding on us. No power in this batch could ever stop you from uniting us if your intentions were noble . Sir , you have miserably failed to act responsible many times . At the same time , I appreciate your efforts on the academic front . You have done pretty well while being on this throne of thorns. Please try to understand my point , There is a lot of difference between groupism and radicalism . I urge you to end that 🙏 .

I would also request you all to please honour 2 students of our batch who have consistently made efforts to unite this batch :-

1.Agamjot singh arora

2.Sarabjot singh kahlon

Guys , I saw these two men crying and shedding their priceless tears with a request to maintain the brotherhood in this class 💝. People present in Room no . 102 and 404 are a witness to this .

Neither do I want to blame anyone for all that has happened , nor do I want to prove myself absolutely right at any point .

Friends we all are humans , We may mistake at any point of our life . But when someone explains please be courteous enough to understand each other’s point .

January 7 , 2018

We all gathered in mullanpur for lohri celebrations at Bansal’s place . There , I had requested all filters something I would like to share with you all :

Learn to be tolerant and be courageous enough to forgive 🙏✌️

Even I may be at target today for writing all this stuff which may seem to be a piece of shit to many . Let me remind you all that this is not for my personal benefit . I am not sharing this post on any platform other than whatsapp. This is what I feel watching my class being torn apart .

Friends , The time is really ripe to rise above our personal differences and stand united as a single batch .

We all are a family and likewise we have had many good and bad times together . I request each member to act responsibly , maturly and participate in each class event whole heartedly .

I hope that I didn’t hurt anybody’s esteem and made my message clear 😊 . If I have hurt anybody’s sentiments , I am willing to appologise as well 💝

Thank you for spending your valuable time on this site . Love you all 😊✌️.

Please stay positive and united always 😊.

A Thank You Note ❤️

Me: Hello !

Kid : (smiled while looking at the pizza slice )

Me: Ki haal aa?

Kid : Mai baut vadia veerji ! Tu c kitho aaye ho ?

Me : Mai Vallah ton aaya haan . Pizza vadia lgg reha?

Kid (Nodded with a gesture suggesting yess)

Me : Kuj hor leke aavan ?

Kid : Veerji chatni chahidi aa …

I looked for it everywhere but to my dismay , all of it was finished . I feared the disappointment of kid but still gathered courage to tell him the truth . I went to him again ;

Me : Mai baut sorry aa , sauce khatam ho gyi , Tuhanu kuj hor chahida hai ?

Kid : nhi veerji mera dhid bhar gya hai .

Me : Kuj hor jo mai tuhanu leke de skaa ?

Kid : Nhi veerji rabb ne baut kuj ditta hai ….

This sentence quaked me for a moment and i just gave a thought to my mind which I would certainly put in front of all of you as a question .

I was left speechless.

Kid : Veerji hun kado aaoge ?

Me : Mai chheti aavanga . Par ki tuc agli vaar v saanu edda hi miloge ?

Kid : Haanji veerji (Smiled)

By this I knew that he certainly found pizza’s to be tasty 😊

20 January ,2018

The SGRD 2k16 and boys from SGRD 2k17 today participated enthusiastically in the drive conducted by Feeding India at the Central khalsa orphanage , Amritsar .All that I experienced today has completely moved my life . I witnessed smile on those faces who are experiencing the worst ever conditions of their life with no one to look after or listen to them always . Yet they smiled so beautifully !!

And cheers to the Batch of 2K16 who wholeheartedly donated a handsome amount of Rs. 18100 /- and brought a million dollar smile on each face . ( Aap sabh k iss ehsaan k liye hum aapke karzdaar hai ) 🙏 I was overwhelmed with joy upon the new members joining the organisation as hunger heroes . Thank you so much friends for showing this extraordinarily couteous gesture 😊 My heart goes out to even those who could not join us today 💝 .

The thought :

Do you guys ever thank the almight everyday for all that he has blessed you with ?

The blessings include but not limited to ;

1.Your parents who are always there to look after you ;

2.Your eyes with which you experience this beautifull world each day ?

3.Your friends with whom you can move around and gossip

4. The liberty your parents give you ?

These questions are an answer to what all I experienced today at the drive .

I could see the children who could not demand anything from their guardian , those who could not tell their cook that – I don’t want to eat this or who could not ask their mothers to cook their favourite dishes .

I could see some members of the orphanage who had never seen this world . I was about to cry while serving , when someone interrupted me by saying – Bhaaji eh blind ne 🙏

All that I did later was :

Waheguru ! Waheguru ! Waheguru 🙏

This helped me regain the courage to serve the sangat .

Friends I have a lot to share about today’s experience , but I want to wrap up the post by sharing one more incident :

Just when we were about to leave and were interacting with the inmated of the orphanage , one of them was standing with my batchmates . I went there and was astonished when the kid said that he wanted to hug me ❤️ I took him in my arms and asked him to hug me tightly 🙂 and for the first time in my life I experienced the warmth of the hug of god . ( ਮੈ ਉਹ ਬੱਚੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਬੀ ਨੂਰ ਤਕਿਆ ) At last friends , I have a request to all of you to be thankfull for all that you have been blessed with ! Please thank the God for each day you spend with your family and friends because some of the human’s are even dying out for thosegifts of god 🙏

I am thankfull to Waheguru that he has bleesed me with 3 Families :

1.Grandfather,Parents and sister ;

2.Massiji , Massarji and Simrat ;

3.Filters and the entire lovely batch of SGRD 2016

Thank you so much for being here always guys . I cannot ask god for anything more than these people in my life 🙏❤️

Rabb tuhaanu saareya nu chardi kala vich rakhe 😊 Bass jinna ho ske enna bacheya waaste jarur kreyo ;

Kyunke jehre rehn kise de ban ban ke , oh khote v khate rehnde ; Jehre naa karan uss daate da shukar aavde kol sab kuj hundeya v , Oh jeyonde v marre rehnde💯

Life of a filter

Hello friends !

I extend my warm lohri wishes to all of you 😊.

I had a thought running in my mind for last so many days and I am glad that I have been able to pen them down to present before you all once again !

I am thankfull to all SGRD 2K16 Filters as well as all the friends who are the motivating force behind all that I am going to share with you all today .

I would like to share a small story with all of you . Probably all of us have heard about it. Kindly Don’t mind any historical errors because I am not a historian 🙏.

Once upon a time , a child was asked by his father to maintain a ration depot in the city which was overlooked by his father as a diwan of city. Following his father’s order , he eagerly began working on the depot and started distributing food to people at throw away prices. People complained about this to the diwan . Infuriated by the deed of his son , the diwan decided to have a look at the balance sheet. To the dismay of people , the child took all of them by surprise when they noticed a remarkable profit in sales and an abundant foodstock still left behind. When questioned about this miracle he replied -” The lord has been showering his blessings and by virtue of his grace , I have been able to do all this.”Friends this child was one of the most pious souls on this earth . Many of you might have guessed it by now . He was none other than the founder of the sikhism- DHAN DHAN SRI GURU NANAK DEV JI . One of the best teachings of sikhism that i would like to share with you all is –

ਨਾਮਜਪੋ , ਕਿਰਤਕਰੋ , ਵੰਡਕੇਛਕੋ।।This means – Recite the name of waheguru , earn what you deserve and share what you have with others . All of you might be aware of the fact that SGRD 2K16 filters have succesfully conducted 2 drives under the aegis of FEEDING INDIA initiative. This oppurtunity was provided to all of us by Dr. Harleen Kaur (District president , Feeding India Amritsar unit).

Feeding India Organisation:

Feeding india is a youth run , not for profit organisation working to end hunger and malnutrition by working in more than 57 cities of India with more than 8500+ volunteers and has served 8.5 million meals as of 2017 .

The drives :

Under this venture we have succesfully conducted two drives . The first one was conducted in a rural area adjoining Amritsar . The second one was a joint drive of Hunger heroes of amritsar and members of sunshine youth club , Amritsar . In this drive we were given a warm welcome in the school by the management and staff .I had even posted snaps from the drives earlier on my instagram and snapchat accounts. These drives have given us a vista view of life , A motive of living for all of us , to live a life and serve those who will be the future of our nation , To live a life which is remembered by all !! And here i qoute a few lines to sum up this post –

So here on behalf of Feeding India , I request you all to join us all in the coming up drive on 20/01/2018 at the Khalsa Orphanage , Putlighar , GT Road , Amritsar from 11 am to 1 pm .The one’s who join will be awarded with the title of hunger hero and a membership absolutely free of cost !!Here I extend to you all an oppurtunity to live a life less extraordinary !! Hasta la vista !!

Love you all 💝 !

The purpose of this post was basically to request you all to join this initiative and support the institutions like feeding india who have consistently been working for the Indian Millenium . Lets achieve it together friends !!

Happy Birthday Massiji ❤️

ਮਾਵਾਂ ਠੰਡੀਆਂ ਛਾਵਾਂ , ਛਾਵਾਂ ਕੌਣ ਕਰੇ ;

Hello friends,

A very happy lohri to all of you !

Occasion of lohri has always been a special one for me and probably for all of us . It has always been a day to rejoice because this is the day my mother turns a year older yet again.

Many of my aquaintances might be in doubt over the celebrations of 10/10/2017 , when I celebrated the birthday of my mother who brought me to this world. Hold on guys , today I am going to write about my mother who raised me up to be a gentleman.

IMG_0785From today onwards I will be counted amongst one of those fortunate men who could ever write about their mothers in their life !!

Born to S. Harbans singh gill of Village sabhra on 12/01/1957 , Sdr. Randhir kaur(massiji) was brought up under extremes of childhood . Being eldest daughter ,  she also had to share the household responsibilities with her mother besides continuing with the academics.According to my mother, she was a brilliant student and excelled academically as well as in sports activities. She graduated in punjabi from Faridkot and was selected by punjab government as a teacher. This phase of happiness was soon followed by immense grief due to passing away of her younger brother and a young nephew in 1999.

She gave birth to 2 children –  Jasleen kaur(di) and S. Vijaypal singh(veerji) . This brought the life again back to normal with both of them scoring excelent academic grades. Both of them graduated in the decade of 2000-2010. Veerji moved to USA in 2009 and was soon conferred with the citizenship of US. I also moved to Dalhousie to continue with furthur schooling . This was the last trip me and veerji made together. Despite of the fact that she gets sick while travelling ,  she travelled all the way to dalhousie in 2012 just to catch a glimpse of mine while being bestowed the academics trophy by the then AIR CHIEF MARSHAL NAK Browne PVSM , AVSM , VM , ADC. Di got married in 2011 and we all were blessed with the first baby in the family – Nimrat kaur in 2013. The same year I started preparing for pre-medical and continued it with massiji’s efforts until she moved to States in 2015 and I had decided to drop a year to get into MBBS. In 2016 we all wittnessed the biggest tragedy of our lives ,  when veerji succumbed to pancreatitis while being in US. Life again brought Massiji and Massarji back to India accompanied by the remains of my brother. Once we all were left hopeless again about any good fortune to come our way. But then much awaited baby(Simrat) came into our life who survives my brother now. She is a hope for all of us. And despite massiji’s declining age , She looks after Simrat so well… Since then massiji has always tried to maintain a broad smile on her face but her hair turning grey day by day depict the sorrow she carries deep within herself.

Today The Iron lady of our family is turning 61 with hope of a better and bright future to come . I am luckier than most of us to have 2 mothers who love me more than anybody on this earth . Though massiji loves more…. Sorry mom !!

Happiest birthday massiji …. Love you loads !! Rabb tuhaadi lambi umar kre 💞………

Friends the motive of this blog and the entire story was to verse all of us with the fact that we are in the spring phase of our life .Who knows what tomorrow has to bring for us ? Sooner or later life will encounter all of us . The key is to remain bold and strong enough to face all the hardships of life and live a life which everyone remembers.

ਹੱਸਦੇ ਰਿਹਾਕਰੋ ਪਤੰਦਰੋ , ਕੀ ਪਤਾ ਕਦੋਂ ਪਟਾਕਾ ਪੈ ਜਾਵੇ …

Hasta La Vista guys !!

Beautifull verse by a terminally ill child

Hi friends ,

Thank you all for showing your love to the previous posts . By god’s grace the number of readers has been far more than my expectation.

Love you all for that !

Today I am going to share with you all a poem composed by one of my favourite teachers’ at DPS , Dalhousie . The one responsible behind all that I am today 🙂

I am quite sure that you guys will really enjoy going through it …

<<<<
you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round?

Or listened to the rain slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?

Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You better slow down.

Don't dance so fast.

Time is short.

The music won't last.

Do you run through each day on the fly?

When you ask, “How are you?”

Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done, do you lie in your bed,

with the next hundred chores running through your head?

You'd better slow down

Don't dance so fast.

Time is short

The music won't last.

Ever told your child,

We'll do it tomorrow?

And in your haste,

Not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch, let a good friendship die

Cause you never had time

To call and say,'Hi'

You'd better slow down.

Don't dance so fast.

Time is short.

The music won't last..

When you run so fast to get somewhere,

You miss half the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry through your day,

It is like an unopened gift….

Thrown away.

Life is not a race.

Do take it slower

Hear the music

Before the song is over.

Rehman Singh : The elder filter

True friendship multiplies the good in life and divides it’s evils . Strive to have friends , for life without friends is like life on a desert island… And to find one real friend is a good fortune and to keep him is indeed a blessing …..

img_0066-2

It’s a well known fact that a family is totally incomplete without elders ; Be it your elder grandparents or your elder brother . The only reason being that they are the charm of your house and have seen life far better than you.

Uss Neeli Chhatri waale di mehr sadka , Khub jwaaniya maan rhe saade filter parivaar ch v ek vadda veer hai jo ki saanu bajurgan vaangu raah paaunda hai, vadde bhrawan vaang maare time te saaadi baanh farda hai ate, bacheyan waangu raaunak laai rakhda hai . #RehmanSingh

I don’t think that I need to write much about our friendship in this post because all those who have read my earlier posts might be already acquainted with us both . But for those who don’t know , kuj ess tarah hisaab lagaalo ki :

Jab bhi hum milte hain ek dusre se , mach jaata hai gadar ,
Saara din yeh kehte beet jaata hai :
BSDK sharam kar , sharam kar ; Arre bhai kuch toh sharam kar ….

We are quite thankful to god for the fact that we both weren’t born to same mother , because Facebook has the option to block us for nonsense but mothers don’t have any. God knew it very well that same mother would never be able to manage us .

Recently to his achievements was the announcement made by govt. in public interest :

Please don’t dare to travel with Rehman Singh unless your life is insured.

Yes that’s quite true because I remember how thankful I was when he drove us around 13 KMS in 5 minutes. And this is a humble request to all girls who have fell into this trap .

For all those who have never met him or got a chance to meet him anytime before , I would like to sum him up for you guys in a few lines :

Yeh who chehra hai , jiski nakaamiyan mai aapko iss Kadar bataau ,
Isse dekhkar gaali khud kehti hai – Kya mai baahar aaun ?

Jokes apart friends , I am really lucky to have a person like him in my life. Though we are always out to pull each other’s legs, but still I wonder sometimes that how blessed I am to have a person born and brought up in Amritsar as one of my best filter friends . I have a question for you Rehman singh –

Tu itne saal kahaan tha bhai ??

Your mere presence makes me feel that I wasted entire 20 years of my life wandering around and searching a person like you in my hometown.Lol ! Seems weird though…

Outgoing HOD Dr.Sarabjot singh Insan , Future HOD with their elder Filter

Though we are a typical Indo-Pak 🇮🇳🇵🇰everyday bro , But today I confess it here that you are the one among people whom I may count upon and certainly the one who tolerates my nonsense in the best possible way. Sadly the number of such people is coming down day by day . Love you for that Chilgozae !!!

Time , need , greed and above all Girls are the most evil things that friendships have to overcome , and I am quite sure that we will be able to do that .

At last –

Happy 22nd Born day Bitch !!! May god give you the strength to tolerate us and don’t worry about the blast because you are certainly going to get blasted..Love you my pretty mare …

I have another message for you from Rajnikanth –

You are the best & hate you upto Infinityyyyy ……

That’s all I can write publicly about Mr. Pasteur . Some inside Stories should always be concealed and I have tried my best to do that ..

Next post will follow soon guys… Probably a poem. Joint effort by me and HOD Dr. Sarabjot singh Insan.

Love you all for you valuable feedback and overwhelming response !

Good bye !!
